ABOUT US
Chef Ben hails from Kearney, Missouri, just outside Kansas City, and has a lifetime of smoking under his belt. A chef by trade with over 20 years of experience in restaurants, he met Britta while working as Head Chef at the Many Glacier Hotel in 2009.
After working in Glacier for many years, they moved to Bend, Oregon so that Britta could go to grad school. While there they developed series of pop-up restaurants, culminating in the wildly popular Punk Noodle. Though noodles aren't in the cards anymore (too much pain goes into handmade ramen, folks, sorry)- the spirit of the Punk pop-up lives on.
When the pair moved to Missoula in 2022, Ben almost immediately got to work building multiple smokers. He refined his recipes and methods, and in the summer of 2025 decided to see if anyone out there was interested.
Ben and Britta are known for not doing things the way everyone else is (just ask their parents)...so the rogue neighborhood BBQ stand was born!
